Nurburgring Lap in Westfield V8
We had a great trip this year to the Nurburgring then to Zolder with 10 of us heading out in May 2013.. Sunday was set to be a wash-out so we got up at 4am and made it to the Ring for some dry laps on Saturday afternoon.. Unfortunately everybody had the same idea so it was a bit busy there but this lap was relatively unhindered.!. We were trying to lap as a group so there’s a bit of waiting for each other which, coupled with the traffic and track unfamiliarity, pushed the lap time up to 8 mins 16 sec (bridge to gantry). I’ll eagerly return there again for my illusive 8 min lap, but splicing together the best bits of my laps shows it’s in the car.
