2020 Lincoln Aviator Review – One Superb Luxury SUV

Welcome to this 2020 Lincoln Aviator review!  The Aviator defines effortless luxury performance among premium SUVs with impressive power, capability, design and tech. The Lincoln Aviator offers two powertrains, 1.) Twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 gas engine 2.) Hybrid powertrain. The hybrid offers superior performance with nearly instantaneous torque to press you against the seat.  The Lincoln Aviator is the brand’s first midsize three-row SUV, which broadens the Lincoln portfolio (unsurprisingly in the SUV segment that the market is shifting towards).

Based on a rear-wheel-drive architecture, Aviator offers a combination of performance, capability and choice, with intelligent all-wheel drive available and the option of a gasoline or hybrid powertrain.  The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine is paired with a new 10-speed SelectShift auto transmission, delivers 400 horsepower and 415 ft.-lbs. of torque.  With the hybrid option however, the Aviator Grand Touring’s hybrid setup takes the performance even higher, with an impressive 494 combined horsepower and best-in-class 630 combined ft.-lbs. of torque.

Would the Lincoln Aviator be your pick over the Acura MD-X, Audi Q7, Infiniti QX60, Lexus RX 350L or Volvo XC90?  Let us know in the comments below!
