Tata Harrier SUV Review & Test Drive

Since the company’s acquisition of Jaguar Land Rover, the Tata Harrier is the first mid-size SUV produced by the Indian based company.  Launched in 2019, it is positioned higher than the smaller Nexon and is based on a Land Rover/Jag platform such as the Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport and even the Jaguar E-Pace.  Plus the Tata Harrier offers strikingly good looks and the best Tata interior offered thus far by the automaker.

The Harrier has front-wheel drive, (four-wheel drive is not yet available).  Its braking system uses ventilated discs at the front, while the rear employs drum brakes. The engine is the 2.0L Multijet 16-valve four-cylinder turbo diesel featuring common rail direct injection, variable-geometry turbocharger, delivering 140 horsepower and 350 torque
