At least once a year hundreds of small towns across America proudly host their local car show. Small town car shows are usually great fun for all ages. The car show featured in this article is the annual ‘Downtown Stillwater Car & Bike Show’ in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Considering the City of Stillwater, OK has approximately 50,000 residents, this year’s turnout of over 100 entrants was really quite good. This car show boasted a fairly wide variety of vehicles ranging from a 1931 Ford Model A, to a 1982 Mercedes 380SL and even a new 2013 Ford Mustang GT. Sure I have been to larger car shows that feature a greater variety of cars that are worth more money, although small town USA car shows like the Stillwater event offer a special charm that you just can’t find at big city car shows or large national car shows.
