Lamborghini Aventador Roadster cruising Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills

Lambo Aventador Roadster

It’s not every day that you see a Lamborghini cruising with ordinary cars on the streets. They drive in rarified air and other cars are lucky to be driving in view of its rear end.  Modern day Lamborghini supercars feature a radical, low-slung and sleek design that are the envy of cars everywhere. This almost impossible level of coolness is completely realized in the amazing Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, which screams high-end exclusivity, yet also manages to exude sportiness and a certain “elegance” about it.  It’s as if supermodel Gisele Bundchen and NFL pretty-boy Tom Brady had a baby and named it “Aventador.” The Aventador owes its incredible 217 mph top speed capabilities to its 700 horsepower V12 engine and the engineer’s obsessive application of lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum components. The car’s superior aerodynamics also plays a significant role in its 0-60, quarter mile times, cornering speeds and top speed. Unlike Lamborghinis of ye olden days with fixed rear wings, the Aventador Roadster’s wing only activates when it’s beneficial to the aerodynamics of the car at mid to high speeds.  It’s a car that even Bruce Wayne proudly parks in his garage between his Tumbler Batmobile and The Bat.

Although we had a good look at this lime green Lamborghini Aventador Roadster LP 700-4, the owner was unfortunately driving like a little old granny on her way to the local Bingo parlor, and refrained from any brisk acceleration. He didn’t even rev the engine (You won’t break it — let it ride!)
